What's New™ was born from the savvy minds of a new homes team with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Specializing in new home sales, they noticed in 2020, when housing inventory plummeted, that homebuyers began to feel anxious and pressured about where to purchase their next home.

What's New™ realized there was an opportunity to help homebuyers see what they could see—that the new homes market was still moving dirt and building neighborhoods, but because these homes weren’t listed yet, nobody knew about them!

So the solution was simple… show Buyers what’s coming!

With that insight, What’s New™ was launched and is now available to be replicated in new markets around the southeast.

Shirley Gary

CEO | Owner
Shirley Gary, real estate broker and CEO of What’s New, brings over 30 years of experience in the new construction industry. She began her career selling and managing new home builder communities before branching out to establish her own independent real estate firm. Since 2008, Shirley and her team have successfully sold and closed over 5,000 new homes, townhomes, and condos across Metro Atlanta.
 
Recognizing the value of keeping both consumers and her team informed about up-and-coming developments — including new phases, home plans, and features — Shirley launched What’s New. The platform has become a trusted resource for Atlanta builders and developers to promote their communities and projects (whatsnewatlanta.com).
 
Looking ahead, Shirley’s goal is to expand What’s New nationwide, forging partnerships that empower builders, consumers, and real estate professionals in every market with timely insights on new developments.

Now, What’s New Atlanta is an award-winning website, video and social media platform created to help homebuyers learn about Coming Soon communities being built by some of metro Atlanta’s best homebuilders. We want to bring the neighborhoods to life that are in the early phases of construction. These homes are not for sale yet but should be within 4-6 months. Since many buyers start shopping for a home 6 months to a year in advance, this timing works perfectly!

Each video includes an onsite tour of a brand-new community with insight from the on-site sales team or the builder. New segments are added frequently to the website and What’s New Atlanta YouTube channel. Better yet, you have the option to join our VIP list to receive the earliest information on your choice communities.
